Addicting, then exhausting.
I must have played this for over three hours a day, for the last month. I love the concept, the strategy, the visually stunning use of commanding an army into combat. It has everything.
Except it crashes like a beast.
If youre close to losing, you spend more time closing out of the game and restarting it, from where you left off.
All the ways of upgrading your gear are left to chance (treasure finding/the blacksmith), and leveling up yourself grinds to a halt, so you inevitably become irrelevant in the higher-up stages.
It needed more units to fight against magic resistant types, it needed a consistent way of bettering your character, and it needed an easier way to restart a level, without immediately having to surrender.
Back to hearthstone for me.
